I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Acosta
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ms. Acosta: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
