I taught mathematics and social studies at Üsküdar Girls' School, Üsküdar. I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Ms. Acar: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
