I coached athletics at Thane Cedar Grove Football Club from 1990 to 2008. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mrunal
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Mrunal: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
