Mrs. Zakaria
35 years teaching history in Ho
- 🇬🇭 Ho, Volta, Ghana
- Crown Middle School
- 1985 to 2006
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 21 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 710 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mrs. Zakaria
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2024. I remember you. Greetings from Gwangju.

You taught me history in 2019 at Crown Middle School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Truly.
