Mrs. Yilma
Economics teacher at Brookfield Boys' School, Since 1987
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Since 1987
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 39 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,990 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mrs. Yilma
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Yilma: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.
