Mrs. Yakubu
13 years teaching Spanish in Ikeja
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Academy
- 2008 to 2016
- English
For eight years I was the Spanish teacher at Ikeja Academy. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mrs. Yakubu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
