Mrs. Yakubu
Spanish teacher at Ibadan Girls' School, 1991 to 2015
- 🇳🇬 Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria
- Ibadan Girls' School
- 1991 to 2015
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 550 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Yakubu
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me Spanish in 2016 at Ibadan Girls' School. I still remember the long bus ride home! Thank you again.

You taught me Spanish in 2004 at Ibadan Girls' School. I still remember that terrible school play.
