Mrs. Yakubu
Accounting and drama teacher, Ogbomosho
- 🇳🇬 Ogbomosho, Oyo, Nigeria
- Ogbomosho Secondary School
- Since 2010
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mrs. Yakubu
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Yakubu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me accounting in 2023 at Ogbomosho Secondary School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

You taught me accounting in 2024 at Ogbomosho Secondary School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
