I taught special education at Bamboo Middle School in Berlin from 2015 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 520 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Yılmaz: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
