For 36 years I have been the special education teacher at Hope Primary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mrs. Yıldız
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Yıldız: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
