Mrs. Xiao
Teacher at Newcastle Academy, loves special education
- 🇦🇺 Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia

For 23 years I have been the special education teacher at Newcastle Academy. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mrs. Xiao
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Xiao: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
