Mrs. Whitmore
21 years teaching home economics in Gatineau
- 🇨🇦 Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
- Oakwood High School
- Since 2009
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about Mrs. Whitmore
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Whitmore: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me home economics in 2009 at Oakwood High School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

You taught me home economics in 2018 at Oakwood High School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
