Mrs. Whitfield
Special education and biology teacher, Buffalo
- 🇺🇸 Buffalo, New York, United States
- 1981 to 1999
- English
I taught special education and biology at Buffalo Technical College, Buffalo. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mrs. Whitfield
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Whitfield: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
