Mrs. Whitfield
Retired chemistry teacher from Oakwood Middle School
- 🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
- Oakwood Middle School
- 1996 to 2022
- English
Oakwood Middle School was my second home. I taught chemistry there from 1996 to 2022, mostly Year 7.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Whitfield
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Whitfield: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
