Orchid Middle School was my second home. I taught chemistry there from 1987 to 2010, mostly Grade 11.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Whitaker: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
