Mrs. Wheeler
Retired social studies teacher from Elmwood Public School

I taught social studies at Elmwood Public School in Mesa from 2002 to 2015. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 590 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Wheeler: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me social studies in 2011 at Elmwood Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
