Mrs. Wekesa
Design and technology and drama teacher, Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Central Secondary School
- 1982 to 1990
- English, Swahili
I taught design and technology at Central Secondary School in Kasarani from 1982 to 1990. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Wekesa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Wekesa: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
