Mrs. Wekesa
16 years teaching social studies in Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Maple Ridge Primary School
- Since 2016
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Wekesa: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me social studies in 2019 at Maple Ridge Primary School. I still remember the end-of-term party
