Mrs. Waweru
Physics and mathematics teacher, Kisumu
- 🇰🇪 Kisumu, Kisumu, Kenya
- Kisumu Secondary School
- 2018 to 2025
- English
For eight years I was the physics teacher at Kisumu Secondary School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 260 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Waweru: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
