Mrs. Wanigasekara
Retired history teacher from Colombo Public School
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Public School
- 1987 to 2014
- English, Sinhala
Colombo Public School was my second home. I taught history there from 1987 to 2014, mostly Year 7.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Wanigasekara
If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the surprise birthday cake.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Wanigasekara: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
