I teach agriculture at Orchid Public School in San Jose since 1982. Most days I teach primary school children, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 2,020 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
