Mrs. Wafula
Retired environmental science teacher from Parkside Academy
- 🇰🇪 Kisumu, Kisumu, Kenya
- 1979 to 2010
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Mrs. Wafula
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Wafula: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me environmental science in 2017 at Parkside Academy. I still remember that terrible school play.
