Mrs. Verhoeven
Early years and accounting teacher, Amsterdam
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Amsterdam Middle School
- Since 2000
- Dutch
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 26 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I play music while people worked.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Verhoeven
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Verhoeven: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me early years in 2018 at Amsterdam Middle School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.
