Mrs. Vega
17 years teaching social studies in Calgary
- 🇨🇦 Calgary, Alberta, Canada
- Beacon Academy
- Since 2000
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 26 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mrs. Vega
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

I was in your first-year students class in 2025. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Rome.
