I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Vazquez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Vazquez: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
