I teach statistics at Bogotá Public School in Bogotá since 1989. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 1,150 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Vásquez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Vásquez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
