I taught special education at Medellín Girls' School in Medellín from 2002 to 2016. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Vásquez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Vásquez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
