Mrs. Vasconcelos

17 years teaching home economics in Feira de Santana

🇧🇷 Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil
Feira de Santana High School
Since 1986
Portuguese, French

I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 40 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, my door is open at lunch. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Mrs. Vasconcelos

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Home economics Accounting

What gifts mean to Mrs. Vasconcelos: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
