I teach history at Sydney Academy in Sydney since 2010. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mrs. Vance
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Vance: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
