Mrs. Van der Horst
French and agriculture teacher, Amsterdam
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Harbor Grammar School
- Since 1984
- Dutch
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 760 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

My kids ask me about my favorite teacher, and it's always you! Greetings from Kingston.

You taught me French in 2022 at Harbor Grammar School. I still remember the end-of-term party. Greetings from Townsville.
