I taught physics at Hillcrest Girls' School in Oaxaca de Juárez from 1981 to 2005. Most days I taught first-year students, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 1,130 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
