For 28 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Kingsway Secondary School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Valdez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
