I taught religious studies at San Diego Primary School in San Diego from 2005 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 8, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Uy: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
