Mrs. Uddin
Agriculture and music teacher, Madurai
- 🇮🇳 Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India
- 1985 to 2020
- English
For 35 years I was the agriculture teacher at Madurai Primary School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Uddin: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me agriculture in 1996 at Madurai Primary School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Truly.

I'm a journalist now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Thika.
