Mrs. Thompson
33 years teaching chemistry in Fort Collins
- 🇺🇸 Fort Collins, Colorado, United States
- Beacon Middle School
- Since 2018
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 260 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mrs. Thompson
If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Thompson: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me chemistry in 2025 at Beacon Middle School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.
