I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 570 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Thakur

What gifts mean to Mrs. Thakur: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
