Mrs. Tembo
Retired drama teacher from Silverlake Public School
- 🇹🇿 Dodoma, Dodoma, Tanzania
- Silverlake Public School
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Swahili
For eight years I was the drama teacher at Silverlake Public School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Tembo
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me drama in 2025 at Silverlake Public School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

I was in your first-year students class in 2018. You believed I could do it before I did! Greetings from Cairo.
