Mrs. Tembo
27 years teaching English literature in Dodoma
- 🇹🇿 Dodoma, Dodoma, Tanzania
- Good Shepherd High School
- 1984 to 1995
- English
I taught English literature at Good Shepherd High School in Dodoma from 1984 to 1995. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mrs. Tembo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Tembo: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
