Mrs. Teixeira
Social studies and special education teacher, Recife
- 🇧🇷 Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil
- Victory Primary School
- Since 1986
- Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 40 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 720 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Teixeira
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Teixeira: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
