Mrs. Swamy
15 years teaching art in Varanasi
- 🇮🇳 Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Varanasi Public School
- 1985 to 2010
- English, Tamil
For 25 years I was the art teacher at Varanasi Public School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
More about Mrs. Swamy
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Swamy: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
