I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
