Mrs. Stanton

34 years teaching English literature in Ottawa

  • 🇨🇦 Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
  • Maple Ridge Secondary School
  • 2010 to 2023
  • English, Spanish
I taught English literature at Maple Ridge Secondary School in Ottawa from 2010 to 2023. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I played music while people worked. I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Mrs. Stanton

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Stanton: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
