Mrs. Spencer
Art and drama teacher, San Francisco
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- San Francisco Academy
- 1987 to 2023
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 36 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Spencer: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your Year 10 class in 1994. You believed I could do it before I did

you taught me art in 1987 at San Francisco Academy. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays.
