I taught physical education at Cedar Grove Boys' School in San Francisco from 2018 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Soto: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
