Mrs. Simiyu
Physics and biology teacher, Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Academy
- Since 1997
- English, Swahili
Nairobi Academy is my second home. I teach physics there since 1997, mostly first-year students.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mrs. Simiyu
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Simiyu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
