Mrs. Simanjuntak

36 years teaching home economics in Jakarta

  • 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
  • Windsor Boys' School
  • 2015 to 2024
  • English, Indonesian
I taught home economics at Windsor Boys' School in Jakarta from 2015 to 2024. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. Over the years I had 230 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Mrs. Simanjuntak

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
