Mrs. Silva
Teacher at Elmwood Academy, loves biology
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Elmwood Academy
- Since 1989
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 37 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
More about Mrs. Silva
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Silva: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me biology in 1991 at Elmwood Academy. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
