Mrs. Silva
Teacher at Starlight Public School, loves social studies
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Starlight Public School
- Since 1984
- English, Sinhala
I teach social studies at Starlight Public School in Colombo since 1984. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mrs. Silva
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Silva: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
