Mrs. Silva
36 years teaching economics in Negombo
- 🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Negombo High School
- Since 1990
- English, Sinhala
For 36 years I have been the economics teacher at Negombo High School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mrs. Silva
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Silva: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
