Mrs. Shukla
29 years teaching French in Belfast
- 🇬🇧 Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
- Andes Girls' School
- Since 1996
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Shukla
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Shukla: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
